Residential and Domestic Sprinkler Systems
The SD120 and the SD80 are designed for residential and domestic use to BS9251:2014.
With the introduction of sprinkler systems in domestic buildings properties may have insufficient water pressure in the towns main to meet the requirements of the sprinkler system. The SD120 and SD80 connect directly to the town�s main and are designed to maximise the water supply available by enhancing the existing available pressure. Due to it's intelligent control system the SD unit will not create a negative pressure in the town�s main and avoids the necessity for water storage tanks. The SD range of fire pumps are the only units that meet the requirements of the UK Water Protocol that can be connected directly to the town's main water supply.

The pump and associated pipework can be housed in a wall-mounted cabinet 800mm wide x 600mm high x 300mm deep with two-door access and external fixing brackets.
The unit is supplied as a plug and play unit. Attach the external brackets, mount to a wall, connect town�s main and sprinkler installation and attach to the power supply.

We can also offer SD120 Residential units, Skid mounted for both Towns main systems and tank systems to your requirements.
SD80 Domestic Pump Unit
The SD80 �plug and play� unit is housed within an enclosure: 
600 mm x 600 mm x 250 mm deep.
This is sized for domestic premises.
New light Colour unit to co-ordinate with domestic finishes.
Town�s Main connection � 28 mm copper.
28 mm WRAS approved Double Check valve supplied.
Sprinkler system connection � 28 mm copper.
Pump - WRAS approved Horizontal Stainless Steel pump.
Remote signalling ( water flowing and System Fault) via an IP66 plug ( supplied with 1 metre of flex). Connects to a socket at the bottom of the cabinet allowing for external connection to a monitoring system.
Can be supplied with a radio link to a remote optical smoke detector/ sounder, fitted with a 10 year lithium battery ( no power required - suppled pre- programmed).
Flow switch and full bore flow test facility.
Main Power � via a flexible cord fitted
Facility to operate priority demand valve if required.
The SD120 and the SD80 are supplied pre-commissioned and ready to use.
A significant advantage of an SD units which is connected to the Town's main is that unlike a conventional pump and tank system, if the electricity fails the town's main will still supply water to the sprinkler system.
